Universal Accountabilities

  • Identifies all program level risks, issues and mitigation plans communicating / escalating all relevant items to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Work with suppliers to ensure that existing products / services meet their targets
  • Be a driving force, inspiration and coordinator for continuous process improvements; help identify opportunities to increase efficiency and eliminate non-value add activities
  • Interface with mid to upper level executives at the Edgewell Personal Care executive team level, including the group SVP and APAC management personnel to drive productivity.
  • Develop and implement procurement category strategy, goals and savings targets in line with company strategy and procurement best-practices
  • Oversees the development and execution of sourcing strategies including the setting of targets, timelines and resource plans while maximizing effect spend under management
  • Manages, develops and leads negotiating and executing contracts and play a key role in managing the regional spend
  • Manages strategic supplier relationship and engage suppliers for value creation and innovation
  • Work with Global Procurement team to execute procurement initiatives

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, Business, technical field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of managerial and leadership experience in Direct/indirect Procurement category management, experience in personal care product contract manufacturing management and marketing and professional services strategic sourcing is preferred
  • Track record of consistent Cost Savings / CI contribution.
  • Demonstrated experience in Internal Stakeholders and Supplier relationship management
  • Knowledge of the procure to pay process
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of strategic sourcing processes, organization, and technologies
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive change in a global organization with minimum supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization in different parts of the world
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams 
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong Excel and database manipulation skills, financial and statistical analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), SAP and Ariba
  • Knowledge of relevant IT systems including; ERP, Spend Analytics and Contract Management
