Responsibilities:
* Manage and direct the testing activities of the team for projects, performance-related work, production issues, and other test activities.
* Interface with senior management to communicate quality issues, provide recommendations, and understand project priorities
* Provide technical direction to the test lead and testers, working closely with the development teams.
* Analyze product/project requirements to create test plans and strategies, ensuring traceability back to requirements.
* Ensure the appropriate test environments and data requirements are identified, agreed to, and understood.
* Responsible for the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of tests, including generation of the test plan and test model, implementation of test procedures, evaluation of test coverage and test results, and creation of test evaluation summary reports;
* Identify, create, and review test metrics

* Improve upon current methods or procedures and/or develop new ones to support the overall test process.
* Ensure consistent usage of existing test plan templates; consistently follow current guidelines for documentation for new projects.

Academic background:
B.S. degree or above with a major in computer science or related discipline
Test Manager Certification a plus
Working Experience:
At least 5-7 years working experience in a similar role

Technical skills required:
* Experience in developing test plans, test strategies and test cases.
* Comprehensive knowledge of software development process, including software design and programming.
* Strong knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, process and best practices
* Background in automated testing is highly desirable.

Language skills:
Excellent English competency both in written and spoken, Good Chinese speaking skills would be a plus

* Experience with Agile & Iterative Development/Project Management methodologies a plus
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
* Analytic and problem solving skills
* Excellent written and oral communication
