Position Objective: 
? IBOR database ( Eagle PACE, STAR, Datamart, MicroStrategy ) design and governance
? Vendor deliverables quality supervision
? Data asset discovery and access 
? Database performance monitoring and tuning

Roles and Responsibilities:
? Database design (50 %)
o Gather and analyze data requirement, propose technical design solution and data model
o Fine-tune current design to improve system performance and remove data redundancy
o Prepare IT documentation 
o Review design to ensure it meet AIA business requirement and adhere to AIA IT standard
o Work closely with report development team to advise data usage and trouble shooting

? Data governance (10 %)
o Define and maintain database change control procedure. Maintain related manual and procedures
o Define framework to govern new data point creation on every data base used in IBOR, such as STAR, PACE, OLAP report field 
attributes, DataMart, MicroStrategy fields etc.

? Supervise quality of vendor deliverables (10 %)

? Data asset discovery and access (20%)
o Prepare and design data dictionary and database knowledge base to help business users understand data and how to discover available data point in the systems for reporting
o Drive knowledge sharing among AIA IT support team as well as business users to improve knowledge of data point available in IBOR

? Database Performance monitoring and tuning (10%)
o Co-ordinate with vendor to monitor the database performance and gather SLA reports
o Work with vendor to trouble shoot database related issues and 
provide recommendation when needed
o Co-ordinate with vendor on database related patches and upgrade

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education
？ University / College graduate in computer science or other relevant discipline

Experience
？ 5-year experience as a data architect

Technical skills
？ Strong SQL skill is a must
？ Oracle 
？ Knowledge on ODBC, API
？ Knowledge of OLAP cube or datacube 
？ Experience on Knowledge Base software
？ Microsoft Office
？ Experience on Eagle STAR/PACE data base is a plus
？ Experience on MicroStrategy is a plus
？ Experience with TeamTrack is a plus
？ Experience with Service Now is a plus
