崗位職責(zé):

1. Deal with the alerts once they have already been passed through a first (level one) filter by the offshore team.Identify and investigate into potential regulatory & internal misconduct risks amongst the employees and associated functions.Ensure that all alerts are satisfactorily escalated and resolved. Provide support and guidance for our expanding off-shoring function. Undertake timely and accurate resolution of requests by Regulators, senior management and the businesses/asset classes into certain practices, businesses, individuals and events. Escalate, as appropriate, any material findings or incidents of misconduct highlighted by these reviews;
2. Support the development of electronic communications surveillance controls to identify misconduct and market abuse. Actively identify risk gaps new trade and electronic communication surveillance controls to identify misconduct and market abuse, including in the testing of next generation trade and electronic communications systems. Review, investigate and escalate alerts generated by the Surveillance system, which is designed to identify breaches of internal policies surrounding Information Boundaries or individual behaviour that may signify potential risk to company and / or its clients’, in particular that of Unauthorised trading risks;
3. Assist team members with the implementation and roll-out of new surveillance tools and models.Partner with regulatory change and other regulatory SMEs to understand new and revised regulatory requirements, codes of practice and others, ensuring surveillance is correctly positioned to satisfy regulatory requirements and changes and that any impact is disseminated to the appropriate Businesses.Production of accurate and in-depth Management Information;
4. On occasion, delegate for Surveillance management at internal control and governance forums. Support management in the resolution of audit and control findings.Produce and present regular MI reports to key internal stakeholders including analysis of the MI. Foster a close relationship with key front office and other functional stakeholders.


任職資格:

1. An understanding of Global Markets and “private side” business and understanding of information control barrier risks.Strong knowledge of financial products, such as Equities, Fixed income and/or Foreign exchanges.In particular, strong knowledge of OTC derivatives (FX, Options, Fixed income & Structured derivatives, Interest rate swaps, Equity Derivatives, Credit Derivatives etc.) would be highly preferred Communications (including eComm and audio) Surveillance experience, or an ability to rapidly upskill is essential. Ability to understand trade and Unaurthorised Trade Surveillance and analyse these for the detection of potential Market Abuse & Unauthorised Trading;
2. Experience in Global Markets surveillance, particularly trade related is preferable, but not essential. Experience in ‘private side’ surveillance, particularly in Global Banking, Commercial Banking and HSS is preferable, but not essential. The ability to analyse and present complex information in a clear, concise and precise written and verbal format is essential. A working understanding of the market abuse aspects of SFC, HKMA rules and regulations as well as other relevant global regulation (MAR, MiFID);
3. An ability to think strategically, with perspective, and demonstrate resilience.An ability to act in a pressurized, but supportive environment. An ability to self-motivate and ‘do the right thing’.Strong, practical experience of risk management in a multi-dimensional environment (for example, industry expectations, regulatory pressures, extensive internal scrutiny);
4. Able to communicate in smooth Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Prefer strong communication skills on minor languages (Vietnamese/Thai language/Japanese/Korean)
